Funeral services for Rebecca Ann Elkins, 67, Friendship will be 2:00 PM Monday, March 7, 2022 at Friendship Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Drace and Dr. Mike Melton officiating. She died Saturday, March 5, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Elkins was born in Dyer County, daughter of the late Wilson and Dorothy Holland Williams. She had lived her entire life in Dyer and Crockett counties, retired from the Bank of Friendship, served as hostess for Friendship Funeral Home and was a member and hostess for Friendship Baptist Church. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Williams and grandson, Garrett Bradley Elkins. Survivors include her husband, Harold Elkins; son, Brad Elkins (Lisa) ; sister, Cindy W. Smith all of Friendship; brother, Frankie Williams of Parsons; special nephew, Chipper Williams; best friend, Jeannie Smith; several loving nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Scott Smith, Shane Smith, Daniel Smith, Jim Rice, Braden Smith and Chipper Williams. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the funeral home.
