Scotty was our beloved co-Boy Scout Troop Leader and dear friend from Arlington United Methodist Church in Arlington, Tennessee. Scotty was the most sweet, compassionate friend always willing to lend a helping hand and he will be greatly missed. He was such a great friend and blessing to all who knew him.
So sad to hear this news. I had not seen Scotty in years. He was my best friend in elementary school at Friendship. When we moved to the high school in seventh grade, we were babies compared to the juniors and seniors walking the same halls. I was bullied at times but Scotty always made me feel safe. I have never forgotten this.\

Scotty, you will be missed. I first came to know Scotty when he was a bedside nurse in the CVICU, and I was the Chaplain, at Methodist Germantown Hospital. I've worked with him through the years in various capacities with Methodist Healthcare. I'm sorry that I cannot be present for his memorial service, yet please know that I am in prayer for the family and all who love Scotty during this time of loss and grief, and that I will be in prayer with you at the time of the Service.
I was heartbroken to hear of Scotty's passing, he was one of the kindest, sweetest people I know. But I know that Heavens gates swung wide open for him and he was greeted not only by God but Granny, Aunt Tootie and Uncle Clarence and all the others that went before him. Pop most likely had a big chew and told him come on son we have a lot to show you. Forever in my heart......R.I.P Scotty Love you to the moon and back!
