Scotty Lee Carmon's Obituary
Funeral services for Scotty Lee Carmon, 55, will be held on Wednesday Oct. 30,2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Friendship Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Chitwood and Pastor Rose Vethraino officiating. Burial will follow in the Bellevernon Cemetery. Scotty was born in Jackson, TN son of the late King Miller Carmon and his mother Lynda Sue Young Shepherd who survives. He had lived most of his life in the Friendship Community and Shelby County. He was a graduate of Memphis State University and at present was the Administrative Officer of Nursing at Methodist Le Bonheur Health Care in Memphis. He was a member of the Arlington United Methodist Church, scouting coordinator for Troop 452, and president of the United Methodist Men. He was preceded in death by his step father Robert D. Shepherd. In addition to his mother he is survived by his sons, Hayden Carmon, Eli Carmon, Arlington, TN, mother of his children, Shannon Carmon and his brother, Glenn Miller Carmon, Dyersburg. Pallbearers for the service will be Jeff Beaver, Scott Faulkner, Jerry Alford, Jr. Everett Mask, Mike Wiseman, and Rick VanMeter. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday Oct. 29th from 5 to 8 p. m. Friendship Funeral Home 731-677-2673.
