Alice Rosamond Perry's Obituary
Alice Rosamond Perry 90, of Maury City, TN passed away on Monday April 1, 2024 at the Bells Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Dyer County, TN daughter of the late Thomas Eldon and Helen Lewis Buford and had lived her entire life in Tigrett, TN and Crockett County, TN. Her greatest joy in life was being a homemaker and a devoted member of the Maury City Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughters, Rosamond Pina (James), Phoenix, AZ, Alice Edwards, Dyersburg, TN, Mary Griggs (Ralph), Nashville, TN, Sarah Beaird (Craig), Maury City, TN, sister, Eldon Anne Parlow, Maury City, TN, twelve grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded by a grandson, John Franklin Beaird.
Services for Alice will be held on Friday April 5, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Maury City Funeral Home with Ralph Griggs officiating and burial will follow in the Bowens Chapel Cemetery in Friendship, TN. The family will begin receiving friends at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Pallbearers to serve will be family members, Eddie Britton, Joe Beaird, Will Griggs, Tom Griggs, Adon Pina, Jaime Pina and Daniel Griggs.
