Barbara Jewel Sanford's Obituary
Graveside services for Barbara Jewel Sanford, 74, will be held on Monday Sept. 30, 2019 at 10:00 A. M. at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, TN with Rev. Jeff Hall officiating. Ms. Sanford died on Friday at the West TN Healthcare Hospital in Dyersburg. She was born in Dyer County, TN daughter of the late Frank and Mable Sewell Spain and had lived her entire life in Dyer and Crockett Counties. Ms. Sanford was a retired factory employee at the Dyersburg Cotton Mill and a Pentecostal in belief. She was preceded in death by her son Michael Thompson and is survived by daughters Michelle Bernard (Dewey), Friendship, TN, Mitzi Goff (Billy), Dyersburg, TN, sister, Sherry Peevyhouse, Dyersburg, TN, grandchildren, Drake Simmons, Hunter Simmons, Brittany Goff, Asia Thompson, and nine great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be family members. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday September 29, 2019 from 6 to 8 P. M. Friendship Funeral Home 731-677-2673.
