Betty Jane Bushart's Obituary
Betty Jane Bushart passed on to meet her Lord and Savior Wednesday, May 1st. She was born May 26, 1947 to the late Mary V. Brasfield. She loved being "Gammy" to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed her flowers, yard work and gardening, along with the outdoors, she also enjoyed walking and camping.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Freddie Rylant.
She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 61 years, James; son Eddie Bushart (Michelle); daughter Julie Wilson (Jerry); granddaughter Brittany Bushart; grandson Jordan Wilson; great grandson Jameson Bushart and great granddaughter Charlee Turnage. She also leaves behind sisters Teresa Acor and Carolyn Leeling; one brother Darrel Brasfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, May 3rd at Maury City Funeral Home with Bro. Rowdy Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 pm until service time. Honoring Betty as active and honorary pallbearers will be Jordan Wilson, Jameson Bushart, Brandon Jones, Kyle East, Joe Beaird, Daniel Beaird, Matt Beaird, Josh Davis, Ryne Bushart, Craig Beaird, Hank Beaird, Ernest Bushart, Roy Lee Bushart, Donnie Bushart, Ernest East and Jeremiah Byrd.
