Betty Ann Harden's Obituary
Funeral services for Betty Ann Harden, 79, were held Sunday July 19, 2015 at 3 pm at Floyd's Chapel Methodist Church with Rev. Samuel Chambers officiating with burial following in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Harden, the widow of Ronald Harden, died Friday, July 17, 2015 at the Methodist North Hospital in Memphis.
She was born in Friendship, daughter of the late Bedford Forrest and Mildred Lorene Malone Rainey but had lived most of her life in Memphis and was a retired employee of Sears Customer Service. Mrs. Harden was a member of Antioch Church of Christ.
Survivors include sons, Ronald E. Harden (Faye), Smyrna, Richard F. Harden (Darlene), Scarborough, ME: daughters, Linda Holt, Atoka, Donna Nichols (Lynn), Bartlett, Rebecca Chambers (Joe), Paris; sisters, Barbara Chapman and Doris Camp, Alamo, Sandra Brasfield, Friendship, Legenia Dale Rainey, Maury City; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Rainey and Deborah Freeman.
Pallbearers were Chuck Crutchfield, Steve Brasfield, Terry Brasfield, Kenny Agee, Michael Yoder, Neal Camp and honorary pallbearers Carlos Carman, Rex Harden Sr.and Shib Brasfield.
Visitation was at the church beginning at 1 pm until service time.
