Carolyn Mae Roberts' Obituary
Carolyn Mae Roberts, 73, passed away peacefully on Monday January 6, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Roberts was born in Jackson, TN daughter of the late Douglas and Annie Mae Ford Hobock and had lived her entire life in Crockett and Lauderdale Counties. She was a retired data entry employee of Komatsu Company where she was employed for many years.
Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family. She was married to Mike Roberts, Halls, TN and was a member of the Maury City Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband, she leaves behind to cherish her memory, son, David Thomas Gilliland, (Laurie), Frog Jump, TN; daughter Andrea Beth Vanness, (Charles) Brighton, TN; stepchildren Adam Roberts, GA, Kelly Wright, MS. Grandchildren include Grant Vanness, Bethanie Latham, Kyle Gilliland and great grandchildren Carter Thomas Gilliland, and Harrison Latham.
Services for Mrs. Roberts will be on Thursday January 9, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Maury City Funeral Home with Stephen Sutton officiating with burial following in the Oakview Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers to serve at the funeral will be John Marvin, Charles Vanness, Kent Cherry, Justin Latham and Kyle Gilliland.
The family will begin receiving friends at the funeral home at 11:00 A. M until funeral time. Maury City Funeral Home 731-656-2113.
