Cathy Darlene Bivens' Obituary
Cathy Darlene Bivens, 57, of Memphis, TN, died on Thursday June 11, 2020 at the Wellington Healthcare Center in Millington, TN after a brave battle with cancer. She was born in Memphis, TN daughter of James and Sue Carman Bivens who survive. Ms. Bivens was a retired dispatcher for the Sears Company and had lived most of her life in Mississippi and Memphis, TN. She was a Baptist in belief. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters, Melissa Sue Reeves, Mallory Reeves, and Megan Reeves all of Memphis, one brother, Tim Bivens (Linda), Benton, Arkansas, two grandchildren, Mikye Reeves, Bella O'Dell and two nieces, Caroline and Anna Bivens. Due to social distancing, attendance will be limited to the funeral at 2:00 p.m. at the Friendship Funeral Home on Sunday, June 14, 2020. Tim Plunk will officiate and burial will follow in Bellevernon Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a. m. and until funeral time.
