It was distressing and a shock to hear about Cathy. She was lovely and we enjoyed having her and Ralph as neighbors when we lived in Lakeway. Time passes and some special people are no longer with us. I wish Bob and I could revisit that neighborhood and the wonderful people still there!

Andy and I have wonderful memories of Cathy as, for the last 15 years, she lived just a house away in Lakeway. Lots of fun cooking together. Cathy always knew who was who and what was going on in the neighborhood, she was so friendly she knew everyone. We all spent many hours on our various balconies with wine or other drinkables watching sunsets. Andy joined Cathy and Ralph for many many Celtics games. It was hard to visit her in those months before Covid struck, but every once in a while that spark would come into her eyes and our Cathy would be back, if only for a bit. I had the pleasure of Cathy's friendship for half a century, beginning with our collegiate days at UTM. To know Cathy was to know her warmth, sincerity, curiosity, and spirit of adventure. She always seemed to have a warm smile and a twinkle in her eyes, so this photograph captures her perfectly. I will miss her.

We have so many great memories of Cathy from long ago at the University of Tennessee and Heidelberg days when we able to visit and travel together in Europe.....5 of us spent the night in the parking lot of Palace of Versailles in Toms car....fun times.
