Cora Jane Curtis' Obituary
Graveside services for Cora Jane Curtis, 91, will be held on Tuesday Nov. 3, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Bellevernon Cemetery with Brent Pierce officiating with burial following. Mrs. Curtis died on Nov. 1, 2020 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Lauderdale County, TN daughter of the late Dave and Allie Defay Littles but had lived most of her life in Crockett and Dyer Counties. Mrs. Curtis was retired from Dyersburg Fabrics where she was employed for many years and was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband Hugh Curtis. Survivors include daughters, Betty Canada, Martha Coker both of Dyersburg, TN, sons Danny H. Curtis (Rosalind), James A. Curtis, of Dyersburg, TN, brother, Loyde Littles, Friendship, TN, sisters, Christine Newman, South Bend, IN, Linda Dunger, Ripley, TN, ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Steven Coker, Mike Coker, Ricky Butler, Danny Curtis, Jr. Frankie Canada, and Shawn Lumley. Visitation will be at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Due to Covid-19 face masks and social distancing is requested. Friendship Funeral Home 731-677-2673.
