Danny Wayne Newland's Obituary
Funeral services for Danny Wayne Newland, 66, will be held on Monday June 21,2021 at 9:30 a.m. at the Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads with Rev. Larry Kirk officiating. Mr. Newland died Thursday evening June, 17, 2021 at his residence in Finger, TN. He was born in Jackson, TN son of the late Minnie Sue Newland and had lived most of his life in Jackson and lately in Finger, TN. Mr. Newland was the former co-owner of Mitchell's Body Shop and later the owner and operator of Newland's Body Shop. He served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam Era and was a Christian in faith. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Newland, Finger, TN, two daughters, Carla Casey, Kingsport, TN, Angie Frazier, Jackson, TN, one brother, Ronnie Newland, Jackson, TN, two sisters, Katherine Barnett, Lorrie Newland, both of Beech Bluff, TN, grandchildren, Jessica Stamper, Zach Casey, Austin Mayo, Hannah Mayo, and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Austin Mayo, Zach Casey, Terry Smith, Leo Davis, Bill Blankenship, Billy Paul Barnett and Tyler Stamper. Friendship Funeral Home 731-677-2673.
