Deliah Mae Branch's Obituary
Deliah Mae Branch, 69, departed this life on Wednesday February 14, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born in Huntingdon, TN daughter of the late Jerry Fry and Elsie Moore and had lived most of her life in the Friendship Community. Mrs. Branch was a registered nurse and had been employed by the Alamo Nursing Home for many years and was a Christian in belief. Deliah was a kind and gentle soul, a nurse for over 40 years who touched many lives. She was loved by her family and friends, her patients, their families, and her many colleagues throughout the years. She loved animals, especially dogs. If you knew her at all you knew about her dogs. She taught the children and adults as well, too to believe in magic and the impossible. She could always show you where the fairies lived. She also taught them to love and appreciate books. She will be missed by all that was blessed to know and love her. She was preceded by her husband Hubert Branch, sons, Jessie and Tommy Branch. Survivors include her grandson, Justin Branch (Monica) Friendship, TN, great granddaughter, Everliegh Branch and a great grandson due shortly. She is also survived by numerous brothers, sisters and extended family. The family will receive friends at the Friendship Funeral Home on Sunday February 18, 2024 from 2 to 4 p.m. A gathering of the family will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday February 19, 2024 at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, TN to inter her cremains.
