I didn't know him that long, only for a year and 2 months because I met him through Curtis Riley , he was the sweetest guy you will ever meet, he was a great father to his two amazing sons & husband to his wife Valerie. he will forever missed, that one memory i had was when he took me and Curtis to Casey jones buffet place to have breakfast
Don was a very smart and special person. He shared so much with our Beasley Reunion family and he will be truly missed. My thoughts are with you Valerie, Matthew and Curtis and all the family today. May God give you strength today

I knew Don from when I joined C7, the Civil War unit he was in. He was a good good guy with a heart of gold and enjoyed the hobby and the fellowship. He will be missed.
I met Don while Civil War reenacting with C7 years ago. He was a good guy who loved the hobby as much as I do. He will be sadly missed.
My sincere condolences to Dons family.
I knew Don from Civil War reenacting, he was always smiling, that will be missed the most. I remember he always had a rocking chair in camp. He would sit in that chair and talk for hours with me. I will greatly miss those conversations. Our hearts go out to you as you navigate this sorrowful time. You will be in our thoughts!
Earth lost an amazing soul, Heaven gained an outstanding man.
I always so enjoyed talking to Don about the Civil War and mystery shows. He was had so much knowledge of both. Hugs for you and the boys.
