Donald Park Smith's Obituary
Donald Park Smith, 68, left his earthly home on Thursday September 5, 2024 after a short illness. He had arrived at his place of employment when he was called home. He was born in Dyersburg, TN son of the late James Park and Peggy J. Rice Smith and had lived his entire life in Crockett County. He began his early life working on the family farm. For the past twenty- nine and half years, he has been employed by Green Point Ag where he was a customer service representative. One of Donnie's joys in life was being a licensed pilot and flying for his personal enjoyment. He was also a dedicated member of the Friendship Church of Christ and served in different capacities. In addition to his parents he was preceded by a brother Jimmy Smith. Left to cherish his memory is his spouse, Cindy Williams Smith, Friendship, son Daniel Smith (Jessica), Friendship, TN, sisters Sue Smith, Pat Branch, both of Friendship, and grandchildren, Kamrie Smith, Brody Smith, Avery Smith, Carlee Boldon, Cassie Boldon and Emma Boldon. Services for Donnie
will be held at the Friendship Funeral Home on Sunday September 8, 2024 at 2:00 P. M. with Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Bellevernon Cemetery. Pallbearers to serve at the service will be James Scott Smith, Michael Smith, Dylan Vales, Bryce Maxwell, Brad Elkins, and Houston Haynes. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Davis, Harold Elkins, Jim Rice, Pinkie Young, James Ellis Smith, Brody Smith, Avery Smith, and Mackie Enochs.
