Mrs. Doris Hope Smith's Obituary
Moments of remembrance for Doris Hope Smith, 83, will be at 3:00 P.M. on Friday March 31, 2017 at the Friendship Funeral Home with Deacon Jack Conrad officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Zion Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Smith the widow of Joe Frank Smith died Tuesday March 28, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, TN. She was born in Crockett County, TN daughter of the late Ira and Jenny Lee Buford Reasons but had lived in Memphis for the past fifty nine years. Mrs. Smith served as a nurses aide at the Mid South Christian Nursing Home and was a member of the Way Point Baptist Church in Bartlett, TN. Survivors include son, Glynn Smith (Debra), Cosby, TN, daughter Lisa Mathews, Bartlett, TN, brother, Jerry Reasons, Alpharett, GA, sister, Merle Springer, Memphis, TN, grandchildren, James Smith (Christa), Joseph Smith, and Margaret Matthews. Pallbearers will be James Smith, Joseph Smith, Jonah Rendon, Tommy Smith, James Ellis Smith, Grant Smith, and Bill Williams.
