Drucilla Prescott's Obituary
Services for Drucilla Prescott, 94, of Maury Junction Community, will be 11:00 am Friday, January 26, 2018 at Friendship Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Austin and Rev. Gib Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in the Crockett Mills Cemetery. She passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Bells Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Crockett County daughter of the late Vester and Clevie Clark Watkins. She was homemaker and a member of Barkers Chapel Baptist Church for 78 years and served as a Sunday School Teacher for many of those years. Mrs. Prescott was the widow of Dalton Prescott. Survivors include daughter, Delma Austin (Jim) of Camden; son Bobby Prescott (Gayle) of Rosemark; grandchildren Paula Dennison (Steve), Steve Austin (Michelle), Keturah Prescott, Jake Prescott, great grandchildren, Samantha Dennison, Ellie Austin, Eli Austin and William Prescott. Pallbearers will be Jerry Prescott, Jacob Hutchison, Shane Prescott, Steve Dennison, Mark Watkins, Wesley Tucker, Jake Prescott and Walter Yearwood. Honorary pallbearers will be Rob Estes, Donald Prescott, Larry Prescott, and Harold Clement. Visitation will be on Thursday January 25, 2018 from 5 to 8 p m at the funeral home.
