Edith Mae Haley's Obituary
Graveside services for Edith Mae Haley, 69, of Newbern, TN will be held on Monday July 24, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Bellevernon Cemetery with Bro. Rowdy Davis officiating. Mrs. Haley died on Friday July 21,2023 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Haley was born in Humboldt, TN daughter of the late Marion Winford and Mary Helen Duck Vestal and had lived most of her life in Crockett & Dyer Counties. She was a member of the Rutherford Assembly of God and a homemaker. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Steven Vestal. Survivors include her husband, Ernest Haley, Newbern, TN, son Bruce Todd (Kellie), Jackson, TN, daughter, Alison Foster (Zach), Newbern, TN, brother Billy Vestal, Parsons, TN, sisters, Linda Shopher, Martin, TN, Marilyn Woods, Alamo, TN and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bruce Todd, Jeffrey Woods, Norman Dalton, Michael Vestal, Shane Dodson and Alan Woods. A visitation will be at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 P. M. on Monday July 24, 2023.
