Emily Marie Worthington's Obituary
Graveside services for Emily Marie Worthington, 78, will be held on Thursday Nov. 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Providence Cemetery with Rev. Zack Wylie officiating. Mrs. Worthington, the widow of Larry D. Worthington died on Monday Oct. 31, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Alamo, TN daughter of the late Doyle and Moreva Priddy Emison and had lived her entire life in the community. She was a devoted member of the Providence Baptist Church serving as a Sunday School teacher for many years. She is survived by a daughter Tammie Hood (Cary), Akron, Ohio, a son, Danny Worthington (Jana), Metropolis, IL, grandchildren Victoria Cooksey (Anthony), Neyland Worthington, Tiffany Royko (Steven), great grandchildren, Avelynn Cooksey, Macklin Cooksey and Myles Royko. Pallbearers to serve will be Danny Worthington, Neyland Worthington, Steven Royko, Cary Hood, Anthony Cooksey and Jim Knox. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
