Glenn Miller Carmon's Obituary
Graveside services for Glenn Miller Carmon, 59, will be held on Tuesday December 22, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. at the Elizabeth Cemetery with Rev. Tommy McElyea officiating. Mr. Carmon died on Sunday December 20, 2020 at the Harbor View Nursing and Rehab center in Dyersburg. He was born in Jackson, TN son of the late King Miller Carmon and Lynda Sue Young Shepherd who survives. He was educated in the Crockett County Schools and received his degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin. He was employed as a sales representative for Pioneer Pharmaceuticals before his retirement due to ill health. Mr. Carmon was a member of the Elizabeth United Methodist Church. In addition to his father he was preceded by his brother Scotty Carmon. Survivors include his mother Lynda Sue Shepherd, Dyersburg, TN and nephews Eli & Hayden Carmon of Arlington, TN. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Meeks, Charles Allen, Zack Allen, Brad Elkins, Jack Scroggins and Danny
Gwinn. There will be a limited visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 12 noon. Due to Covid 19 masks and social distancing will be required. Friendship Funeral Home 731-677-2673.
