Hal C. Ing's Obituary
Hal C. Ing of Friendship, TN peacefully passed away on Veterans Day, November 11, 2025. Growing up in Friendship, Hal attended Miller's Chapel Church of Christ. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Hal was a graduate of Dyersburg High School, Class of 1968. After graduation, Hal proudly served in the United States Air Force. During his military service from 1971 to 1975, Hal spent time in both Germany and South Korea until he received an honorable discharge in 1975. Following his time in the military, Hal used his aptitude for building to start his own successful masonry construction business. Later in life, he worked as a building inspector for the State of Tennessee ensuring construction complied with building and safety codes. In 2012, Hal retired from the State of Tennessee to have more time to spend on the family farm and visit with his beloved daughter, Amy.
Hal was preceded in death by his father, Paul Ing, his mother Dale Ing and two brothers, Barry Ing and Danny Ing. He is survived by his loving daughter, Amy Sanders, brother Victor Ing, and son-in-law, Darren Sanders.
Graveside services will be 10:30 AM Monday, November 17th in Bellevernon Cemetery.
