Harold Lyndell Jones' Obituary
A memorial service for Harold Lyndell Jones, 78, will be held on Saturday September 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Floyd's Chapel United Methodist Church with Stephen Sutton officiating. Mr. Jones died on Thursday September 8, 2022 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born in Crockett County, TN son of the late David Harold and Magnolia Brasfield Jones and had lived his entire life in the Crockett County area. He was married to Hazel Rodgers Jones who survives and was an agent for Woodmen of the World from 1978 until his retirement. Mr. Jones was a member of the Floyd's Chapel United Methodist Church and served in the Tennessee National Guard. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Kevin L. Jones (Angela), Lebanon, TN, Keith A. Jones (Nicole), Jackson, TN, grandchildren, Victoria (Tori) Jones, Garret Jones and one great grandson, Oliver Kessler. He was preceded in death by a brother, James V. Jones, two sisters Rachel Jones Mathis and Linda Ann Jones. Visitation will be at the church beginning at 10 a. m. until service time.
