Harry Kail Sr.'s Obituary
Services for Harry Kail, Sr.,78, of Adrian, MO, formerly of Alamo will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Cypress United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
He died October 16, 2015 at Adrian Manor Nursing Home. Mr. Kail was born August 1, 1937 in Haywood County son of the late William McKinley and Myrtle Ray Holman Kail. He served his country in the US Army as a guard stationed at the Berlin Wall in Germany. He was united in marriage to Lillian Gibbons on July 12, 1958. Harry worked for the Brown Shoe Company and was a butcher at the Latham Market in Jackson until he and his wife purchased the Medina Market in Medina. Together they owned and operated it until Harry's health began to decline. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving to fish and especially coon hunt. He also enjoyed a good old western movie. Harry lived in the Cypress community with his family for over 40 years.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Leroy, William, and James Kail; sister, Ruth McCall and son, Harry Kail, Jr. "Bubba".
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lillian Kail; son, Anthony W. Kail, Sr. (Susan); daughter, Jennifer Smith (Bobby); grandchildren, Tiffany Lee "T.K.", Stephen Kail, Timothy Kail, Amber Kail, Anthony W. Kail, Jr., Marquita' Kail, Seana Autry, Bobby Smith, Jr., Dillon Smith, Freddie Casey, Francine Gillard, Joshua King, Jawstin Smith; 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, October 19, 2015 from 5-8 pm at the Friendship Funeral Home and Tuesday at the church from 12:00 pm until service time.
