Harry Todd Saunders' Obituary
A memorial service for Harry Todd Saunders, 91, will be held on Saturday January 28,2023 at 10:30 A.M. at the North Jackson Church of Christ with Minister David Looney officiating. Mr. Saunders passed away Tuesday January 24,2023 after a sudden illness. He was born in Jackson, TN son of the late Orville. F. and Almeda Adele Todd Saunders and had lived his entire life in Jackson. Along with Jerry Sims he owned and operated the Harry Saunders Florist for over forty- five years. He was named Designer of the Year by the Tennessee State Florist Association and after retirement continued to work in the florist industry, working at George's Florist in Trenton, TN. Mr. Saunders was a charter member of POEMS in Jackson, a veteran of the United State Army, TN National Guard and a member of the North Jackson Church of Christ. In addition to Jerry, he is survived by cousins. At his request, he was cremated and his ashes will be interred next to his parents in Hollywood Cemetery.
