Helen C. Armstrong's Obituary
Funeral services for Helen C. Armstrong, 93, will be held on Saturday September 30, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Maury City Funeral Home with Minister Patricia B. Merrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Maury City Cemetery. Mrs. Armstrong was born in Crockett County daughter of the late Arthur and Lora Mae Young Archer and lived her early life in Crockett County and most recently living in Madison County, TN. She was retired from food service at the Market Place Deli. She was the widow of Byram Armstrong who preceded her in death in 1998 and was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include her son Franklin Hollingshead (Martha Casey) Bolivar, TN; stepson, Patrick Armstrong (Joy), Big Spring, TX; stepdaughter, Jean Armstrong, California; grandchildren, Mark Hollingshead, Lee Hollingshead, Tracy Robinson, Kerry Dale Robinson, Whit Armstrong, Holley Schlumpf, Austin McKeever; thirteen great grandchildren and five great- great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded by daughter, Helen K. Robinson; grandson Pat Hollingshead and siblings, Thomas Archer, J. D. Archer, Mildred Harris, Bertha McCollum, Lucille Wilcox and Mary Sue Marlow. Pallbearers for Helen will be Billy Hungerford, Braden Hungerford, Dalton, Anthony, Patrick, and Nathan Hollingshead. Visitation will be at the funeral home beginning at noon on Saturday Sept. 30th. Maury City Funeral Home 731-656-2113.
