Mr. Jackie Herron Taylor's Obituary
Graveside services for Jackie Herron Taylor, 78, Jackson, will be 1:00 PM Friday, December 11, 2015 at Cave Springs Cemetery in Chester County with Rev. David Moore officiating. He died Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at his residence after a long illness. Mr. Herron was born in Bemis, TN, son of the late Beesey Taylor and A.C. Taylor. He worked in maintenance for Tennalum Co., U.S. Army veteran and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bemis. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jackie Taylor. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Leahrae Askew Taylor of Jackson; daughters, Debbie Smith (Terry) and Elaine Newland (Danny) of Finger, TN, Cindy Helms (Jim) of San Antonio, TX; sons, Glen Taylor (Vanessa) of Pinson, TN, Darren Taylor (Denise) of Jackson, TN; sister, Shirley Hamlett of Medon, TN; 11 grandchildren;18 great grandchildren.
