Mr. James Kenneth Ward's Obituary
Funeral services for James Kenneth Ward, 78, will be held Saturday Oct. 21, 2017 at 11:00 A. M. at the Cairo Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Dennison officiating with burial to follow in the Cairo Cemetery. Mr. Ward died Wednesday Oct. 18, 2017 at the NHC Healthcare in Milan, TN after a lengthy illness. He was born in Crockett County, TN son of the late James Hollis and Lena Belle Taylor Ward and had lived most of his life in Crockett and Carroll Counties. Mr. Ward was a horse breeder and trainer and a member of the Cairo Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Nancy Wray Ward, Friendship, TN, son, James Lee Ward (Liz), Friendship, TN, daughters, Debbie Beaird (Lanny), Frog Jump, TN, Carol Rouse,(Kevin), Dandridge, TN, DeAnne Pace(Sammy), Lexington, TN, sisters, Glynda Fowler, Crockett, Mills, TN, Elaine Batlis, Port Charlotte, FL, brothers Gerald Ward, Crockett Mills, TN, Donald Ward, Crockett Mills, TN, Paul Ward, Alamo, TN, Farrow Ward, Trenton, TN, Milton Ward, Friendship, TN, Stephen Ward, Crockett Mills, TN and nine grandchildren. He was preceded by a sister Melissa Lewis. Pallbeareres will be Ronnie Ward, Brandon Ward, Scott Ward, Leven Ward, Brian Ward, and Chris Ward.
