Dr. Jerry Phillip Smith's Obituary
Funeral services for Dr. Jerry Phillip Smith, 63, will be held Thursday November 30, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Friendship Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bellevernon Cemetery. Dr. Smith died Monday November 27, 2017 at the Indian Path Medical Center in Kingsport, TN after a lengthy illness. He was born in Dyersburg, TN son of Jerry Wilson and Evelyn York Smith but had lived in Kingsport, TN since 1983. Dr. Smith practiced dentistry there and was a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Debra J. Smith, Kingsport, TN, his father, Jerry W. Smith, Jackson, TN, brother, Jeff Smith (Ruth Anne) Humboldt, TN and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Neal Smith, Tim York, Kent Bewick, Keary Bewick, Kevin Bewick, and Bill Bewick, Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday November 29, 2017.
