Jerry Wayne Spann's Obituary
Funeral services for Jerry Wayne Spann, 72, will be held Wednesday May 31, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Friendship Funeral Home with Bobby Rawson officiating with burial following in the Friendship Cemetery. Mr. Spann died Sunday May 28, 2017 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born in Crockett County son of the late O. B. and Virgie Gillon Spann and had lived his entire life in Crockett County. He was a retired farmer and truck driver and was a member of the Alamo Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of thirty two years, Vicki Williams Spann, Bells, TN, daughter Diana Spann (Maria Lewis), Friendship, TN, sons, Scott Smith (Vicky) Friendship, TN, Michael Smith (LaDonna), Friendship, TN, brother, Bobby Spann,(Ann) Nashville, TN, grandchildren, Houston Haynes(Janea Clement), Dylan Vales (Kristi Reed), Hannah Smith, Madison Smith, Megan Smith, great grandchildren, Farrah Lewis, Jaidyn Vales, nephews Bobby Spann, Jr., David Spann, and Daniel Spann. Pallbearers will be William Nichols, Mac Summerlin, Glenn Allen, Bobby Spann, Jr., David Spann, Daniel Spann, with honorary pallbearers being Tommy Williams and Danny Young. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday May 30, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. Friendship Funeral Home 731-677-2673.
