Jerry Wayne Wallace's Obituary
Funeral services for Jerry Wayne Wallace, 68, will be 10:30 AM on Saturday April 28, 2018 at the Meridian Baptist Church with Dr. John Enoch officiating with
burial to follow in Liberty Grove Cemetery. Mr. Wallace died peacefully on April 24, 2018 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born in Jackson, TN
son of the late Max and Imogene Martin Wallace and had lived here his entire life graduating from Southside High School and attending Jackson State Community
College. He was reared by his grandparents Asa and Lorhada Martin who precede him in death. As a member of Meridian Baptist Church he served in numerous
capacities including Deacon, and Sunday School Director. He was employed by the City of Jackson in the Health and Sanitation Department. He is survived by
his wife Delight Garrett Wallace, Jackson; sons, Tony (Candie), Jackson, Brian (Karin), Medina, Kyle (Fiance' Danielle Hays) Jackson; sister, Lillian Sue Demo, South Carolina, Suzanne McGlade, Scotts Hill; brothers, Murray and Amos Ragan, Jackson; eight grandchildren, Bryton
Wallace, Branton Wallace, Garrett Wallace, Cameron and Carson Rogers, Paxton Wallace, Evan Wallace, Tucker Wallace; special niece, April Savage. Pallbearers will be Chris Rinks,
Bobby Nesbitt, Justin McClintock, Bobby Wilson, Gary Hardee, Jimmy Matthews. Honorary pallbearers will be fellow Deacons, Milton Canovan, Eldon Dyer, and
Herman England. Visitation will be at Meridian Baptist Church on Friday April 27th from 5-8 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Friendship Funeral Home 731-677-2673.
