Mr. Joe, you will be dearly missed. You were an amazing senior competitor who teamed with my Mother, Maureen Meeks. What a team you two were..Unbeatable.. You will never be forgotten and hold a special place in my heart.. So handsome in your dress blues today!
We are so sorry to hear of Mr Joe Camp's passing. It was always good to see him setting in church (South Forked Baptist Church) on Sunday mornings. We missed seeing him once he was not able to attend. Prayers for the family! Charles & Janet Randle
Mr. Joe’s light and humor will be terribly missed. I am so thankful for the 26 years of companionship he shared with my Grandmother. He met her at the Senior Center after my grandfather had passed and teamed up with my grandma. The 2 have been competing as pairs and traveling for the Senior Olympics ever since. He helped her find a spark when her world was dimmed and continued to fuel that friendship over all these years. He came to Michigan once to visit and I heard all about how walking the Mackinaw Bridge was a horrible idea and how much fun he didn’t have. Whenever we’d visit Tennessee, Mr. Joe always stopped by and made sure he got to say hello. Always had a smile and a joke. He was truly a kind soul and our family is better for knowing him.
