Mr. John Edward McBride's Obituary
Funeral services for John Edward McBride, 89, will be held on Friday July 16, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at the Friendship Funeral Home with Pastor Lyndell Fisher officiating with burial to follow in Bellevernon Cemetery. Mr. McBride died Monday July 12, 2021 at the Alamo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Dyer County, TN son of the late Bedford Forrest and Myra McDermon McBride and lived most of his life in Dyer County in the Finley Community. Mr. McBride was a farmer and a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the First Assembly of God in Newbern, TN. To cherish his memory, he is survived by his wife Kay Conder McBride, Newbern, TN, son Jeffrey McBride (Dorthea), Newbern, TN, daughters, Amy Sanderson, Jill Lemons both of Newbern, TN, sister, Anna M. McBride Stanbrough, Newbern, TN, grandchildren, Justin Peevyhouse, Jonathon Sanderson, Heath Hinson, Greg Sykes, Fallen Pete, Shaina Lemons, Amber Lemons, Lauren McBride, great grandchildren, Tori Garrison, Leah Noel and John Daniel Pete. He was preceded in death by Sisters Beatrice M. Permenter, Vivian Cooper, brothers, Reynold Byron McBride, Hunter McBride, Woodrow W. McBride, Will Madison McBride, Leon McBride and King Newton McBride. Pallbearers will be Greg Sykes, Malcolm Harris, Kevin Roy, James Gary Permenter, Michael Lacy and Mitchell Lacy.
