Graveside services for John Henry York, Jr. 63 will be held on Tuesday May 4, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. at Bellevernon Cemetery with Ham York Haley and family officiating with burial following in the cemetery. He was born in Dyersburg, TN son of the late John Henry and Stella Basye York and had lived his entire life in the Crockett County area. He was a retired textile engineer from Remaldi. He was also a member of the Friendship Church of Christ. He is survived by his sons, Ben York (Amanda) Big Sandy, TN, Thad York (Jessica) Camden, TN, brothers Michael York (Carol), Moscow, TN. Tim York,(Becky),Jackson, TN, sister Carrie Lee Camp (Randy), Humboldt, TN, one grandchild, Aniston York and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Ben, Thad, Mike, Tim, Caleb, and Seth York. Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday May 4, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. until funeral time. Friendship Funeral Home 731-677-2673.
