Jorge Valenzuela Soto's Obituary
Jorge Valenzuela Soto, 62, passed away from a prolonged illness on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at his daughter's residence in Friendship. He was born in Durango, Mexico, son of Velia Soto Villegas and Jose Natividad Valenzuela Carillo. Jorge lived in California for a couple of years and moved to Crockett County in 1996.
He was a long time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was a very hard worker. He worked in construction for many years until his illness progressed and then he worked as a floor tech at Jackson Madison County General Hospital until he became disabled. Jorge enjoyed spending time outdoors tending to his gardens and lawn. He enjoyed family time and road trips to Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his father. His survivors include his mom Velia Soto Villegas; brothers: Hilario Valenzuela Soto, Miguel Angel Valenzuela Soto, Eduardo Valenzuela Soto, Gabriel Valenzuela Soto, Alberto Valenzuela Soto; sisters: Rosa Alicia Valenzuela Soto, Monica Valenzuela Soto, Angelica Valenzuela Soto, Patricia Valenzuela Soto, Ana Elia Valenzuela Soto; daughters: Jennifer Valenzuela and Vanessa Aguilera; grandchildren: Roy Geovani Aguilera, Alexa Jaclyn Aguilera, Kate Elena Aguilera and Jorge Alejandro Aguilera.
His ashes will be taken to Mexico at a later date for burial. There will be a mass held at a later date also, pending location and date.
