Joseph Clinton Tull's Obituary
Joseph Clinton Tull, 75, of Friendship, TN died at his residence after a short battle with cancer on Monday May 6, 2024. Joe was born in Friendship son of the late Clinton D. and Mildred L. Harper Tull on May 26, 1948. He was a graduate of Friendship High School and had lived his entire life in Crockett and Dyer Counties. During his employment years, Joe was a self-employed painting contractor and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church. He always prided himself with the bounties of his gardens and eager to share with others.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Friendship Funeral Home with Rev. Zac Hannaford officiating with burial to follow in the Bellevernon Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends at the funeral home at noon on Thursday. Pallbearers serving will be Jim Rice, Mark Willliams, Gerald Bowen, Terry Haley, Tommy Holland, and Larry Scott Smith.
Joe is survived by his sons, Terry Tull, Nashville, TN, Cliff Tull, Dyersburg, TN, Shannon Tull (Terri) Bells, TN, Clint Tull (Leah), Poplar Bluff, MO; daughter, Gina Rushing (Marshall), Bon Aqua, TN; brother, Bill Tull, Friendship, TN; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
