Mrs. Kathy Jo Hipps' Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Kathy Jo Hipps, 59, will be held Wednesday Dec. 7, 2016 at the Friendship Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Drace officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery. She was born in Dyersburg, TN daughter of the late Millard and Lois Whittle Irvin. She was a homemaker and attended Friendship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Steve Vaughn. Survivors include her husband Johnny Hipps, daughters Kelly Newhouse (Fiance-Paul Thompson) and Lisa Hipps all of Friendship; sister Phyllis Vaughn of Dyersburg; nieces and nephews Scott and Angie Vaughn, Teddy and Susan Massey, Jason and Cathy Vaughn, Jordan and Meggan Hipps. Pallbearers will be Scott Vaughn, Jason Vaughn, Teddy Massey, Stephen Stephenson, Hunter Newsome and Larry Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Vaughn, Pinkie Young, Barry Thompson and Shane Smith. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
