Mrs Katie S. Elmore's Obituary
Funeral services for Katie S. Elmore, 94, will be held Thursday January 12, 2017 at 2 p m at the Friendship Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Metcalf officiating. Burial will follow in the Bellevernon Cemetery. She was born in Benton County, TN daughter of the late Joseph and Allie Paranell Stokes but had lived most of her life in Crockett County, TN. Mrs. Elmore was a retired employee of Pictsweet Co. and was a Pentecostal in belief. She was preceded in death by her husband Thurman Elmore and a son Clyde Elmore. She is survived by two sons, Ernest Elmore, Jr. and Johnny Elmore both of Friendship, TN;eight grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and seventeen great great grandchildren. Pallbearers for the service will be Daniel Haley, Shawn Lumley, Larry Sides, Zev Griffin, Joseph Elmore, Michael Mosier and Jason Speer.
