Kenneth Wayne Davis' Obituary
Private services for Kenneth Wayne Davis, 72, will be held on Sunday August 1, 2021 at the Friendship Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Thompson, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Archers Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Davis died suddenly Thursday July 29, 2021. He was born in Crockett County son of the the late Cecil Davis and Ida Mae Irvin Davis who survives. For 45 years, he was the owner of the Custom 4 X 4 Center in Jackson, TN and later worked in the dozer business with his son. He had lived his entire life in Jackson and Crockett County, serving in the National Guard for six years and was a member of the Englewood Baptist Church. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Sue Gillon Davis, Gadsden, TN, son, Heath Davis (Ashley) Gadsden, TN, daughter, Holly Staats (Cole) Clarksville, TN, brother, Woody Davis (Kay), Bells, TN, sister, Diane Summerlin (Mac) Friendship, TN, and grandchildren Alex Gentile, Alex and Eli Staats. Serving as pallbearers will be Mac Summerlin, Daniel Pigue, Brent Davis, Jeff Davis, Shannon Gillon, and Rodney Gean. Due to the daily increasing number of Covid 19 the family in respect for your protection as well as theirs will keep all services private. Your sympathy, love, support and prayers are appreciated.
