Mr. Larry Douglas Worthington's Obituary
Funeral services for Mr. Larry Douglas Worthington, 77, will be held on Tuesday June 18, 2019 at 11:00 a. m. at the Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Kellough officiating with burial following in the church cemetery. Mr. Worthington died on Friday June 14, 2019 at the Bells Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Crockett County, TN son of the late Jim Henry and Ruby Permenter Worthington and had lived most of his life in the area. He was a retired self employed trucker and farmer. Mr. Worthington was a member of the Providence Baptist Church where he had attended for the past forty two years. He is survived by his wife Emily Emison Worthington, Alamo, TN, daughter, Tammie Hood (Cary), Akron, Ohio, son, Danny Worthington (Jana), Tullahoma, TN, grandchildren, Tori Cooksey, Tiffany Worthington, Neyland Worthington and great grandchild, Avelynn Cooksey. Pallbearers will be Danny Worthington, Neyland Worthington, Cary Hood, Anthony Cooksey, Chip Worthington and Jim Knox with honorary pallbearers being Donald Watson, and Dean Speight. Visitation will be at the Friendship Funeral Home on Monday June 17, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. Friendship Funeral Home 731-677-2673.
