Leahrae Ann Taylor's Obituary
Leahrae Ann Taylor, 88, widow of Jackie Herron Taylor passed away on Monday Sept. 8, 2025 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital after a short illness. Leahrae was surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Madison County, TN daughter of the late Robert Earl and Ruthie Porter Askew.
Leahrae was a homemaker and loved providing for her family and thoroughly enjoyed gardening especially with her flowers. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bemis.
In addition to her husband she was preceded by two sons, Jackie Taylor and Darren Taylor.
Survivors to cherish her memory are daughters, Debra Smith (Terry), Finger, TN, Elaine Newland, Finger, Tn, Cindy Helms (Jim), Hammond, LA, and son Glen Taylor (Vanessa) Pinson, TN. She also leaves twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and several great- great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday Sept. 11, 2025 at 11:00 A. M. at Cave Springs Cemetery in Chester County. Rev. David Moore will officiate with family members serving as pallbearers. Friendship Funeral Home 731-677-2673.
