Leon L. Plante's Obituary
Services for Leon L. Plante, 88, will be held on Monday February 10, 2020 at 2:00 P. M. at the Maury City Funeral Home with Chaplain Keith Guinn and Bro. Tony Moss officiating. Burial will follow in the Maury City Cemetery with military honors. Mr. Plante died on Friday February 7, 2020 at the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Humboldt, TN. He was born in Rochester, Michigan, son of the late Doris Blakly Meier and Delphis W. Plante and had lived in Maury City for the past twenty seven years. He was a veteran of the United States Marines and severed during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired self employed cabinet maker and was a Methodist in belief. Mr. Plante was preceded by his wife Katie Plante in 2012. He is survived by his care giver Donnie Walters, Maury City, TN and his Marine League brothers. Visitation will be at the Maury City Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Monday February 10, 2010. Maury City Funeral Home 731-656-2113.
