Mrs. Leonia Stella York's Obituary
Crypt side services for Mrs. Stella York, 87 will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday Aug. 6, 2019 at the Bellevernon Cemetery. Mrs. York died on Monday Aug. 5, 2019 at her son's residence after a lengthy illness. Mrs. York was the widow of John Henry York and was a retired entrepreneur and business woman. She was born in Fowlkes, TN daughter of the late Arch and Jewel Harrell Basye and had lived her entire life in Dyer and Crockett Counties. She was a member of the Friendship Church of Christ where she and her husband attended for many years. Mrs. York is survived by her sons, Mike York (Carol) Moscow, TN,, John H. York, Jr., Maury City, TN, Tim York,(Becky) Jackson, TN, daughter, Carrie Lee York, Friendship, TN, eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
