Linda Baby Duncan Whitby's Obituary
Linda "Baby Duncan" Whitby, 89, left her earthy home on Monday June 10, 2024 after a lengthy illness at the Bells Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Linda was born in Mayfield, KY daughter of the late Wilbur and Edith Gambol Duncan and lived most of her life in Crockett County, TN. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of the Bethesda Church.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday June 13, 2024 at Noon at the Friendship Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Drace officiating with burial in the Friendship Cemetery. Survivors include sons, Terry Harris (Cheryl), Friendship, TN, Jeffrey Harris (Cindy), Union City, TN, Jason Patrick Harris (Trish), Union City, TN; daughters, Karen Harris, Bells, TN, Stacey Pence (Brad), Muscle Shoals, AL; brother, Larry Duncan, Atoka, TN; sister, Iris Deegan, Bells, TN; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded by sisters, Theda Cotton, Evelyn Oliver; brothers, Harold, Herbert, Gene Duncan and Douglas Cotten and one grandson Tyler Harris. Pallbearers serving will be Paul Oliver, Mike Oliver, Scott Nolen, Brad Pence, Briar Holt and John Camp. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time.
