Louise Rolleri's Obituary
Louise G. Rolleri, 96, died peacefully on March 30, 2023 at the Hilltop of Greenville Memory Care in Greenville, SC after an extended illness. She had lived in Jackson, TN before moving to be near her son. She was born on July 4th,1926 in Bound Brook, N J daughter of the late Anthony and Theresa Bonetti Gannone. She was married to Gene Rolleri and together they owned and operated Bicycle City in Jackson from 1978 until 1991. "Lou" was very active in the community and St. Mary's Catholic Church. She served the church in the Eucharist adoration every week for years, president of the National Council of Catholic Women, first time recipient along with Deacon Bill Lafont of the Mater Dei award and was active in Bible studies and the preparation of FAN dinners on Wednesdays. She was also Mrs. Claus for breakfast with Santa. Lou was a Brownie troop leader, a Cub Scout Den Mother, and active in the Girl Scouts of West TN with cookie drives and camp leaders training. She also enjoyed her membership in the National Story telling League. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene J Rolleri and a brother Anthony Gannone. Survivors include her children: Barbara Arthur(Philip) Glens Falls, NY, James Rolleri (Terri), Travelers Rest, SC, Steven Rolleri, Rochester, NY, Michael Rolleri (Karen), Chapel Hill, NC, sister Ruth Page, Trinidad, CO, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be Friday April 14, 2023 at 12:00 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father David Graham officiating, Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and with the Rosary being prayed at 11:30 AM. Entombment will be in the Highland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Generations of Generosity or one's favorite charity. Friendship Funeral Home (731-677-2673)
