Mrs. Margaret Josephine Riddick's Obituary
Services for Margaret Josephine Riddick, 93, social worker, will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Maury City Funeral Home with Keith Fussell officiating. Burial will follow in Maury City Cemetery. Mrs. Riddick died Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Kings Daughters & Sons Home in Bartlett, TN after a long illness. She was born in Henderson, TN, daughter of the late C.P. Roland and Grace Paysinger Roland. She had her Masters Degree from Louisiana State University, was an accomplished pianist with the radio show in Jackson; first runner up to Mrs. Senior in TN, 1993: accompanied many artists and her son's choirs from Bartlett High School; third place in 2014 talent competition from her nursing facility and a member of Maury City Church of Christ. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Woodrow Riddick and daughter, Martha Jo Riddick. Survivors include sons, Edward Riddick (Deborah) of Arlington; Terry Joe Riddick (Joan) of Kingston; brothers, Issac N. Roland of Henderson, Dr. Charles P. Roland of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, James Edward Riddick, Bradley Riddick, Kelly Riddick Albert; great grandchildren, Ashley and Richie Albert. Pallbearers will be Bill Privett, James Riddick, Bradley Riddick, Justin Riddick, Ed Riddick and Terry Riddick. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
