Mrs. Margaret Ruth Vaughn's Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Ruth Vaughn, 82, will be held Monday December 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Maury City Church of Christ with Dean Miller and Larry Harper officiating with burial to follow in the Maury City Cemetery. Mrs. Vaughn died Thursday December 13, 2018 at the Alamo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a short illness. She was born in Bells, TN daughter
of the late Harvey L. and Alice G. Chambers Dotson and had lived most of her life in the Crockett County area. She was educated in the local schools and West TN Business College. Mrs. Vaughn was a retired employee of the United States Army serving as a secretary and for the Social Security Administration and was a dedicated member of the Maury City Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Danny Warren Vaughn, Sr., Maury City, son, Danny Warren Vaughn, Jr., Alamo, TN, daughter, Beverly Jetton (Barry) Friendship, TN, grandchildren, Kristen Parker (Will), Melissa Wainscott (Andrew), Kimberly Winters, (Michael), Alisha Doherty (James), Danae Logan (Jacob), Braden Vaughn, great grandchildren, Raylan Parker, and Alice Doherty. Pallbearers for the service will be Barry Jetton, Will Parker, Andrew Wainscott, Michael Winters, Craig Beaird and Bill Redmond. Visitation for Mrs. Vaughn will begin at 10:00 a. m. on Monday December 17,2018 at the church. Maury City Funeral Home 731-656-2113.
