I remember Melvin when he was a boy. Melvin and Larry liked photography and made time lapse photographs writing their name in the dark with fireworks sparklers... I was a little girl and Cousin Ann Loved Larry even then... I was in awe of them all.. When I heard that Connie Williams ( my classmate) anD Melvin got married . I was reminded that Friendship anD the people In. Friendship lived beautiful fairy tale lives .. I will always remember Melvin and Connie as part of the sweetest of all stories.. .... and the story will never really end ... part of eternal love.

There are so many memories of Melvin. The first one I can remember is when my brother Johnny brought him home when I was only about 4 years old. Hey did coin rubs and I thought he was so awesome. Then when my family moved to Golden Circle, Melvin and Connie became our neighbors. The last time I saw Melvin was at church. Connie said I love you Pam I said I love you too and then I looked at Melvin and I said I love you too, Melvin. I'm so glad I told him that. He spoke at Johnny's Memorial and he was so nervous but he got through it and I was so thankful. He was a sweet man.
