Mrs. Mildred Louise Austin's Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Louise Austin, 86, will be held Friday April 15,2016 at 1:00 P. M. at the Friendship Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Halliburton officiating with burial to follow in the Bellevernon Cemetery. Mrs. Austin died Tuesday April 12, 2016 at the Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was born in Dyer County, TN daughter of the late Lawrence and Louise C. Daniels Heathcott. and had lived her life in the area. She was married to Vernon Carl Austin, who survives and a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her husband she is survived by a son Jimmy Ray Austin (Sue) Mt. Juliet, TN, daughters, Judy Strayhorn, Dyersburg, TN, Patty Moore (Jerry), Friendship, TN, sisters, Patricia Thompson, Friendship, TN, Mary Lee White, McEwen, TN, grandchildren Jeff Strayhorn, Lori Strayhorn, Jody Lynn Moore and great grandchildren Jeremy Robert Moore, Kloie Lynn Moore, and Ben Austin Strayhorn. Pallbearers will be Jody Moore, Jeremy Moore, Ben Strayhorn, Jeff Strayhorn, Robert McCanless and Brian McCanless. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday April 14th from 5 - 8 P.M.
