Mrs. Myra Freeman Wharey's Obituary
Funeral services for Myra Joyce Freeman Wharey, 86, will be held Saturday May 28th at 2:00p.m. at the Maury City Funeral Home with Chad Tritt officiating with burial to follow in the Floyd's Chapel Cemetery. She was born in Crockett County daughter of the late Thomas Felix and Annie Riddick Manning and lived her entire life in the area. She was preceded in death by her first husband James Freeman and also her second husband Harry P. Wharey. For many years Mrs. Wharey was employed by General Metals in Humboldt, TN and later was a caregiver for many friends in the area. She was a faithful member of the Maury City Church of Christ. Survivors include son, Edwin Freeman (Ann) Maury City, TN, daughters, Charlotte Cottner (H.C.), Maury City, TN, Kay Tritt, Alamo, TN, and Sandra Latham, Maury City, TN. 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was also preceded by sons, Ray Freeman, Michael Freeman, grandson, Chris Cottner, and great grandson, Eli Trittt.. Pallbearers will be Jamye Spence Freeman, Michael Yoder, Carlos Carman, Josh Elmore, Jesse McCain and Dustin Manning. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday May 27th 5-8p.m. Maury City Funeral Home 731-656-2113.
