Myrtie Jane Hughes' Obituary
Services for Myrtie Jane Goforth Hughes, 97, will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 28, 2017
at Friendship Funeral Home with Larry Harper officiating with burial to follow in Bellevernon Cemetery. Mrs. Hughes died Sunday November 26, 2017 at the Bells Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Graves County, KY daughter of the late Aulie Floyd and Myrtie Adella Cavitt McClure but lived most of her life in Crockett County, TN. Mrs. Hughes was preceded in death by her first husband, Lonnie Goforth and her second husband Louis Hughes and was a member of the Cairo Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughters, Deronda Thompson, Dell Ross (Mike), both of Friendship, TN, grandchildren, Audra Jones McDonald, Amanda Baker, Walter Thompson III, great grandchildren, Blake McDonald, Autumn McDonald, Dakota Murry, Treva Baker, Hannah Griffin, Davien Thompson and Amelia Thompson. Pallbearers will be Mike Ross, Chuck Fussell, Steve Rice, Ronnie Vernon, Clyde Young, and Tommy McDonald. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday November 27,2017 from 6 - 9 P.M.
